At Zenobia, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the richness of Syrian culture, support those impacted by conflict, and empower the next generation through education, community, and service. Rooted in heritage and driven by compassion, we strive to create a space where culture thrives, voices are uplifted, and meaningful change begins, both locally and globally.
Zenobia hosts a dynamic range of events that blend philanthropy with cultural celebration. From fundraising galas to speaker panels, educational seminars, and awareness campaigns, our events aim to support Syrians impacted by conflict. At the same time, we honor and share Syria’s rich heritage through cultural nights, music and dance performances, art showcases, and more. Every gathering is an opportunity to build community, raise awareness, and make a meaningful impact together!
"Jusoor (‘bridges’ in Arabic) is an international NGO with the mission of “Maximizing the potential of Syrian youth through education."
Zenobia is made up of Syrian immigrant families from the Chicago area and its western suburbs. Our community includes people from different regions of Syria, with a variety of religious backgrounds, careers, and life experiences. Many young people in our community are students, volunteers, and active participants in our programs. Together, we’ve built a space where people can connect, support one another, and stay rooted in their shared culture.
